For over 30 years, Pensacola State College’s TRiO programs have transformed lives, providing vital support to students as they work toward academic and professional success. To celebrate National TRiO Day, the program hosted a special Open House with a creative twist – a Lunch Crawl, where students, faculty and staff explored TRiO services while enjoying a progressive-style meal.
Attendees picked up different components of their meals at each TRiO service office in Building 6 on the Pensacola campus, creating a fun and interactive way to learn more about the resources available to them.
- Veteran’s Upward Bound and Veterans Student Support Services (Room 658) – Hamburgers & Plates
- Student Support Services (Room 620) – Chips & Water
- Educational Opportunity Center (Room 610) – Cookies
- Educational Talent Search: Upstairs (Room 675) – Veggie Tray & Goodie Bags
Adding to the excitement, each office donated a $25 Amazon gift card, giving attendees five chances to win. Congratulations to this year’s lucky winners:
- Maria Brake – Student Support Services
- Kateland Kennemore – Veterans Upward Bound
- Christy Holt – Veterans Student Support Services
- Angela Henry – Educational Opportunity Center
- Savannah Rivera – Educational Talent Search
Through events like this, PSC’s TRiO programs continue to create meaningful connections and provide students with the tools they need to achieve their goals.
