For Will King, treating others with kindness and love isn’t just a philosophy—it’s a way of life. As a Senior Executive Assistant in the Office of the Vice President, Academic & Student Affairs since January 2025, King’s deep faith and the lessons instilled by his father guide him in making every interaction meaningful.
Those same values led him to the love of his life, Grace. The two met at Pensacola Christian College when she complimented his shoes while waiting in line for coffee. Little did she know then that coffee holds a special place in Will’s life (“I’m a bit of a coffee snob and prefer to make it at home”)—as does fashion. A dedicated thrifter, he enjoys curating his personal style, which he describes as “elevated casual.” In fact, he once ran a store featuring his best vintage finds and hopes to revive the venture in the future.
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana (“Go, Pacers!”), King has embraced Pensacola’s milder climate and diverse attractions. “From the scenic downtown area to the beautiful beaches to the historic military forts, Pensacola has a little bit of everything—a good reason to stick around,” he said.
With plans to settle in the area with Grace and their Mini Goldendoodle, Joergen, King has crafted the perfect itinerary for visiting family and friends. “We’d start with coffee at Drowsy Poet, then check out some of my favorite shopping spots like Flip Flops on Palafox and Bo’s Local Finds—both great for unique clothes and art. After grabbing tacos from my favorite food truck, we’d head to Pensacola Beach to relax. And once the sun sets, there’s nothing better than strolling up and down Palafox, taking in the downtown atmosphere.”
Since joining PSC, King has enjoyed connecting with colleagues across departments and appreciates the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. With his warm spirit and enthusiasm – and his passion for people, style and coffee – he continues to make a lasting impact on those around him.
