More than 40 Pensacola State College students will compete in the SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference set for April 29-May 2 in Pensacola.
The students who won in 24 categories placed in the Region 1 SkillsUSA Conference held Feb. 6 and Feb. 7 on the College’s Pensacola and Warrington campuses. Overall, Pensacola State won 19 gold medals, 11 silver medals and four bronze medals at the Region 1 competition.
Pensacola State is hosting this year’s SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference as well as the 2019 and 2020 competitions. The SkillsUSA competitions are based on leadership, service and technical fields ranging from cybersecurity to health occupations to HVACR.
