Pensacola West Percussion Ensemble Performs Free Concert at PSC Nov. 3

“Everything But the Kitchen Sink” is slated for Pensacola West Percussion Ensemble’s fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov.3 at Pensacola State College’s Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus.

The concert is free and no tickets are required. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Playing with lighters, on furniture, on break drums and even pieces of wood, the ensemble performs percussion works by Steve Reich, John Cage, and Brett Dietz.

Directed by Laura Noah, the musicians are a collaborative ensemble of both Pensacola State and University of West Florida students.
