If you love rock, the blues and jazz – how would you like to hear a fusion of these three genres? Rick Trolsen’s Neslorchestra will bring its signature “Primordial Fusion” sound to Pensacola State College on Friday, Oct. 12.
The 17-piece ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. in Ashmore Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus at 1000 College Blvd.
Tickets are $11, adults; $9, seniors, non-PSC students and children; $7, PSC Seniors Club members, PSC faculty and staff; and free for PSC students with current ID.
The New Orleans-based group features all original compositions by composer and trombonist (Rick) Troslen in his definitive “Primordial Fusion” style. The compositions – a sonic stew of rock, blues and jazz – are wrapped in an eclectic 21st century swing vibe.
Along with Trolsen, Neslorchestra includes Janna Saslaw, Ray Moore, Jason Danti, Joe Goldberg, Chris Kohl, Khari Lee Allen, Brent Rose, Kyle Cripps, Eric Bernhardt, Joe Cabral, Ian Smith, Eric Lucero, B.J. McGibney, Nick Solnick, Tim Robertson and Bill Richards.
