The Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival’s 2016 Invited International Artist, Diego Alonso Carbajal Mas, is giving a free presentation at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2 at Pensacola State College’s Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts, Building 15, on the Pensacola campus.
The public is invited and plenty of parking is available from the Airport Boulevard entrance between the Switzer Center and the PSC Planetarium, Building 21.
Carbajal’s works will be on display at the Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival, Friday through Sunday, Nov. 4 through 6, at Seville Square in downtown Pensacola.
An artist and silversmith from Lima, Peru, Carbajal’s works have been chosen for more than 20 exhibitions. His education includes Peru’s Institute of Art and Design, the National University of San Marcos, and studying Pre-Columbian silversmith with master silversmith Rodolfo Manga.
