The landscape photography of four artists ─ Todd Bertolaet, Don Clark, Mark Alan Francis and Roland Miller ─ connect in the “Inspired by Place: Contemporary Landscapes” exhibit at Pensacola State College.
A Gallery Talk is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, in Lamar Lecture Hall (Room 1513) at the Charles W. Lamar Studio in the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts. A reception will follow at 7 p.m. “Inspired by Place” is on display in the Lamar Studio until Dec. 15.
The photographers have collaborated in academic and artistic endeavors for over 30 years. The exhibition allows the group to showcase their talents and insight regarding the landscape genre.
“Inspired by Place” describes landforms captured in a manner that lends context, beauty, interest, emotion, and concern for the environment.
