The Free VITA Tax Preparation and e-Filing services are now available on Pensacola State College campuses.
In existence for more than 10 years, the program provides free tax services to working families and individuals who earn less than $66,000 a year. Residents can receive quality service from IRS-trained tax preparers, and have two filing options – online or in-person.
At Pensacola State, hours vary according to site:
- On the Pensacola campus, the service is available until April 18 upstairs in Building 98, just behind Building 96 on College Boulevard. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday and Friday; and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
- On the Milton campus, services are available by appointment only until April 12 on Tuesday and Thursday in the Campus Library, Building 4100. The college is at 5988 U.S. 90 and to make an appointment, call 484-4450.
