Holiday music fills the air as Pensacola State College presents the Concert Chorale and Entertainers Jazz Choir in a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Ashmore Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus.
The public is invited and seating begins at 7 p.m.
The Concert Chorale opens the evening with “Navidad Nuestra,” a folk drama of the nativity based on the rhythms and traditions of Hispanic America, by Ariel Ramirez, and “Mary Had a Baby” arranged by Robert Shaw.
Featured numbers by the Entertainers Jazz Choir include “We need a Little Christmas” arranged by Anita Kere, “The World for Christmas” by Anders Edenroth, and “Yule Be Swingin’” arranged by Mac Huff.
PSC choral director is Xiaolun Chen and accompanist is Ila Brown.
