Florida College System Foundation to Present Check for Over $27,000 to Pensacola State College

What: Pensacola State College will be presented a check for over $27,000, which private donors have matched with over $27,000 for a total of over $54,000 for student scholarships to be awarded at Pensacola State College.

Why: Florida College System Chancellor Madeline Pumariega and Florida College System President Judy Green will present a check for over $27,000 to Pensacola State College President Ed Meadows to be used for student scholarships at Pensacola State College. The $27,000 has been matched by private donors to total over $54,000 that will be awarded in scholarships to students attending Pensacola State College.
The over $27,000 from the Florida College System Foundation represents contributions from Florida Blue, Helios Education First Generation scholars and Dream Makers First Generation scholars. Present at the check presentation will be:
