Pensacola State College’s Visual Arts Department in the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts opened the 2024 annual faculty and support staff exhibition “Show & Tell! [3]” on Oct. 15 at in the Switzer Gallery. This year’s exhibition showcases the talents of artists who work for Pensacola State College, displaying an eclectic variety of mediums. The faculty and support staff artists, listed below, collectively gave brief presentations on their work to about 125 attendees, including a great turnout of PSC students.
Head of the Visual Arts Department Brian Weaver said, “This annual exhibition event is a stellar opportunity for the extremely talented faculty and support-staff in the Visual Arts Department to present insights into our own individual artmaking practices to our collective students and surrounding community. This highly anticipated enrichment activity provides an engaging atmosphere in a superb gallery setting that bridges the professional artworld gap between our PSC students and the faculty / support-staff where intellectual dialogue is crafted, questions are heard, answers formed, and inspirations are in abundance.”
The exhibition will be on display Oct. 14 through Dec. 13, 2024 in the Switzer Gallery and is free of charge for the public.
