Pensacola State College will celebrate Constitution Day with a faculty panel discussion and campus activities commemorating the signing of the U.S. Constitution by delegates to the Constitutional Convention in 1787.

History, government and philosophy faculty members will share insights and perspectives during the panel discussion, “A More Perfect Union at 250: A Constitutional Discussion,” from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, in the Hagler Auditorium (Building 2) on the Pensacola campus.

Other campus activities throughout the day include constitutional trivia on campus TV screens and informational games, including historical word finds and true-or-false quizzes, in common areas across all campuses.

Additionally, voter self-registration stations, compliant with current Florida voter registration statutes, will be available at various locations as follows:

Milton Campus (Student Center, Building 4200)

  • Monday, Sept. 14, 11 a.m.–12 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 16, 11 a.m.–12 p.m.

Pensacola Campus (Student Center, Building 5)

  • Tuesday, Sept. 15, 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 17, 11 a.m.–12 p.m.

Warrington Campus (Library, Building 3500)

  • Monday–Thursday, Sept. 14-17, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

South Santa Rosa Center (Student Lounge Area)

  • Monday, Sept. 14, 9:30 a.m.–10:45 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 16, 9:30 a.m.–10:45 a.m.
