Pensacola State College, in partnership with Pensacola Foo Foo Festival, invites the community to explore the future of art through “Synthetic Creativity: Ai-Da Unveiled,” featuring the groundbreaking work of Ai-Da, the world’s first ultra-realistic humanoid robot artist, on Nov. 2.
Blending art, technology and innovation, this unique festival experience will explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping creativity while inviting audiences of all ages to engage with one of the most talked-about figures in contemporary art. Through live demonstrations, an art exhibition, expert discussions and hands-on community activities, attendees will have a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the conversations shaping the future of creative expression.
The robot Ai-Da will appear first at the Pensacola Saenger Theatre on Monday, Nov. 2, for a special ticketed event including a live performance and panel discussion, with representatives from the Florida Institute for Human & Machine Cognition, Persona AI, Tallahassee State College and PSC. Ai-Da will create artwork live on stage and experts in emerging technologies will offer insights into the opportunities, challenges and ethical considerations surrounding AI’s growing role in society.
Tickets will be $35 and on sale soon through the Saenger Theatre Box Office.
Throughout the week, visitors can explore an exhibition of Ai-Da’s artwork at the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for the Visual Arts on the Pensacola campus of PSC. The free exhibition will showcase Ai-Da’s distinctive works.
