INTRODUCTION
The goal of the Associate in Science degree in Surgical Services is to prepare entry-level Surgical Technologists who are competent in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter the profession. The degree also provides the student with the practical skills necessary for employment as a Central Sterile Processing Technologist and Endoscopic Technician.
