PSC Milton campus to host 37th Annual Lumberjack Fest on Oct. 17

Grab your favorite flannel shirt and get ready for a day of family lumberjack fun outdoors.

The 37th annual Northwest Florida Forestry Conclave Lumberjack Festival is set for 10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, near the track on Pensacola State College’s Milton campus, 5988 Highway 90 in Milton.

The Lumberjack Festival features competitive events for adults 16 and older, including ax throwing, bow sawing, log rolling, pole tossing, standing chopping, knife throwing, log splitting and crosscut sawing.

Children’s activities include face painting, games, crafts and more.

Vendors and crafters will have items for sale. Cash and credit cards are accepted.

Admission is free. There is a $5.00 fee to compete, but children, students, PSC alumni and senior citizens can compete for free. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m.
