PSC conferred a total of 1,226 degrees and certificates for the Spring 2026 semester, marking the college’s largest graduating class.

Santa Rosa County Commissioner Colten Wright, a PSC alumnus, gave the address during the college’s Spring 2026 Commencement.
Pensacola State College’s Spring Commencement took place at the Pensacola Bay Center on Wednesday, May 13, honoring more than 600 degree and program completers from the college’s largest graduating class to date. The commencement address was given by Santa Rosa County Commissioner Colten Wright, an alumnus of then Pensacola Junior College.
Wright shared his story and valuable lessons from his career in retail management, encouraging the graduates to say “yes” to the opportunities that will come, as he had done by following the advice of his father throughout his career.
“I remember speaking with my dad about how school and work was going,” he said about a time he was offered a promotion at work, “and one day he warned me, ‘Son, if you keep saying no, they’re going to stop asking you and then they are going to forget about you.’ Saying ‘yes’ opened numerous doors for my personal and professional growth.”
While more than 600 PSC graduates walked across the stage in cap and gown during the commencement ceremony, the college conferred a total of 1,226 degrees and certificates for the Spring 2026 semester. These included 72 bachelor’s degrees, 411 Associate in Arts degrees, 241 Associate in Science degrees, 480 career and technical certificates, and 22 applied technology diplomas.
