





The Pensacola State College Athletics Department hosted its annual Signing Day on April 27 at Hartsell Arena to celebrate student-athletes who have committed themselves to continuing their academic and athletic careers at the next level.
Two players from Women’s Soccer, Hailey Gatica and Teresa Hernandez, have committed to the United States Sports University. Amelia Johnson has committed to Columbus State University, and Emily Leonavicius will join the women’s soccer team at Florida Southern College.
Women’s Basketball player Cassidy Gladney has signed to play with Jackson State University.
From Softball, Xanne “Yala” Zwakman has signed with Dillard University, and Kayleigh Cuccia will play for Lynn University.
From Volleyball, Laila Greene has signed with California State University, Stanislaus; Maddie Goodwin has signed with Valdosta State University; Reece Varden has signed with Spring Hill College; and Danielle Lee has signed with Middle Tennessee State University.
Baseball’s Makaio Cisneros has signed to play at Florida Atlantic University; Taft Middleton will be playing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte; and Carson Small has signed with the University of New Orleans.
From Men’s Basketball, Deven Bates has committed to Louisiana Tech University.
