Pensacola State College will present the 43rd Annual Spring Recital of the Pensacola Guitar Orchestra, under the direction of Joe Stallings, on Saturday, April 11, in the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium on the Pensacola campus. Admission is free.

The recital will feature the eight-member guitar orchestra, soloists from Pensacola State College and the University of West Florida, and prize winners from the 2026 Pensacola State College Finger Style Acoustic Guitar Competition.

Members of the Pensacola Guitar Orchestra are PSC students Peg Barrett, Patrick Kinnell, Shawn White, Julie Bailey and Jenna Antoun, and UWF students Christian Scheibe, Bryton Barnett and Levi Blackman. The following winners from the PSC 2026 Finger Style Acoustic Guitar Competition will perform as soloists: first-prize winner Sam Ito, age 16, from Tallahassee; second-prize winner Micah Fetner, age 15, from Bayou La Batre, Ala.; and third-prize winner Jonah Fetner, age 9, from Bayou La Batre, Ala.

The program will include works from a variety of composers, including Ludwig van Beethoven, Simon and Garfunkel, Johann Sebastian Bach, Tears for Fears, Leonard Cohen, Jürg Kindle, John Denver and Lennon-McCartney.

Winners from the PSC 2026 Finger Style Acoustic Guitar Competition: first-prize winner Sam Ito, second-prize winner Micah Fetner and third-prize winner Jonah Fetner.

The program will also feature an original arrangement of a traditional “Gaelic Melody” by Adam Willard, the first-prize winner of the 2017 Pensacola Finger Style Acoustic Guitar Competition.
