The Pensacola State College Guitar Association will present internationally acclaimed concert artist Jérémy Jouve in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium on the Pensacola campus.
Admission is $11 for adults, $9 for senior citizens and non-PSC students, and $7 for PSC employees and Alumni Association. PSC students with a valid student ID receive free admission.
Tickets are available online at performingarts.pensacolastate.edu/upcoming-events or in person at the Lyceum Box Office, Bldg. 8, Room 861, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets will also be available at the door one hour before the performance. Jouve trained at the Ecole Normale de Musique before continuing his studies at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris (CNSMDP), where he studied with great masters like Alberto Ponce and Roland Dyens. The recipient of many prizes and awards, he won the 2003 Guitar Foundation of America’s International Concert Artist Competition and has since recorded many CDs and DVDs. His 2014 album Traveling Sonata, a guitar and flute duo recording for Reference Recording, earned a Grammy Award nomination.
In addition to his concert performance, Jérémy will adjudicate the PSC 2025 Finger Style Acoustic Guitar Competition and lead a free guitar Master Class on Friday, Feb. 21, at 4 p.m. in Room 850 of the PSC Ashmore Fine Arts Center, Bldg. 8.
