It all started with an idea… give generous individuals the chance to support students in honor of PSC’s 75-year legacy of supporting the community. When asked why “I am PSC” resonates with them, individuals responded with their belief in the power of education, shared their hope for the future and invested in scholarships for PSC students. Common to nine key investors, was a love for Pensacola State College, and an appreciation of how the College made their life and our community better. The inaugural “I am PSC” campaign exceeded the goal with nine donors gifting $10,000 each to sustain this legacy through endowed scholarships. When matched their $90,000 became $180,000 that will impact countless lives. Leading these nine donors were presenting sponsors, Jo-Ann and Michael Price. The Prices and others proclaimed together “We are PSC!”
Community members wishing to make their mark and join these donors should visit IamPSC.org to contribute. Every gift, from $1 to $9,999, will be matched 100% and applied to the Universal Scholarship. All donors, regardless of gift level, are invited to enjoy the December 5th “I am PSC” Celebration at the BEAR JONES MOORE REEVES Center for Math and Advanced Technology Building, Third Floor, on the Pensacola campus. Doors will open to all donors at 4:30 PM, and complimentary light refreshments will be served by Molly McGuire School of Culinary Arts students. Help celebrate 75 years of academic excellence and opportunity at Pensacola State College through the “I am PSC” campaign today!
