There is no real price tag for feeling self-confident and ready to shine, and JCPenney is ready to assist students, faculty, staff, administrators and alumni do just that on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 3-6 p.m. at their store at University Town Plaza at 7171 N. Davis Highway in Pensacola during their “Suit-Up” event.
PSC Graphic Artist Logan Davis plans to check out the event next month. “It seems like a good opportunity to update my wardrobe and get advice from colleagues about what’s appropriate and looks good.”
Those interested in shopping online can text “Pirates” to 67292 to receive a 30 percent off coupon and will check out with a special event code, and in-person attendees can enjoy up to 45 percent off the total purchase price as they take advantage of additional in-store sales and discounts to update their professional wardrobes (PSC ID required). Merchandise included for this event will be identified with red Suit-Up tags.
According to Deborah Hooks, PSC Director of Career and Technical Education Student Resources, PSC swag and a chance to win door prizes will also be a fun part of the afternoon. “This event is so important for our students because, as we all know, the price of clothing continues to rise, and for our students who are on a budget, it is difficult for them to purchase nice items to interview in. This is just a great resource for our students who are about to go into the workforce and let’s be honest: it is a great event for staff who would like to take advantage of it, also.”
