Double feature set for May 23-26
Pensacola State College Performing Arts Department will present a Mark Landon Smith double feature this week.
The department will stage “Plan 9 From Outer Space” and “Night of the Living Dead” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, May 23-25, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 26, in Ashmore Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus.
Smith, an American playwright and actor, has appeared on stage, film and television. His other plays include “Teenagers From Outer Space,” “The Pirate Show,” “A Dickens of a Christmas Carol,” and others. “Killers of the Flower Moon” and Mindcage” are among his film credits.
He is the executive director of ARTS LIVE THEATRE, Co-founder/Co-Producer of Ceramic Cow Productions and co-director, emcee and actor with Phunbags Comedy Improv. He is also the founder and co-director of the Actor’s Casting Agency and Smith|Fox casting and runs the Playwright’s Workshop for TheatreSquared.
Admission is $11 for adults, $9 for senior citizens and non-PSC students, and $7 for PSC employees. Tickets are free to all PSC students with a current student I.D. Students must pick up tickets from the Ticket Office in Building 8.
