Pensacola State College announced proposed lab fee changes for courses for students enrolled in the Allied Health programs.
The College’s District Board of Trustees will vote on the fee changes at the Tuesday, June 18, meeting set for 5:30 p.m. on the Pensacola campus. If approved by the Board of Trustees, the new fees will take effect for the Fall 2024 Semester.
The Allied Health Department courses and proposed changes include:
- ATE 1650C ─ Introduction to Clinical Procedures lab fee increases to $223 from $160

- MEA 0520C ─ Phlebotomist fee increases to $360 from $337.
Reason: CastleBranch increase.
- MEA 0541C – EKG Technician lab fee increases to $163 from $140.
Reason: CastleBranch increase.
- MEA 0521C – Phlebotomist, MA lab fee increases to $360 from $337.
Reason: CastleBranch increase.
- PTN 1001 – Introduction to Pharmacy lab fee increases to $153 from $130.
Reason: CastleBranch increase.
- RTE 1804L – Radiography Clinic I lab fee increases to $262 from $230.
Reason: CastleBranch increase.
- PHT 1251L – Basic Skills in Patient Care Lab lab fee increases to $183 from $160.

- STS 1307C – Surgical Equipment and Instrumentation lab fee increases to $277 from $253.

- SON 1100C – Principles and Protocols of Sonography lab fee increases to $188 from $165.

- RTE 2844L – Radiography Clinic IV lab fee increases to $48 from $43.
Reasons: $5 increase in monitoring of dosimeter badge by Landauer.
- DES 1000 – Dental Anatomy lab fee increases to $238 from $206.

- EMS 1411L – EMT Clinical Internship lab fee increases to $194 from $171.

- EMS 2231L – Paramedic Lab I lab fee increases to $297 from $274

- HIM 2820L – Professional Practice III lab fee increases to $163 from $140.
