Veteran and Military Family Support

Veteran Services at Pensacola State College

Since 1948, Pensacola State College has proudly served veterans and their families, honoring their commitment with dedicated support and resources.

The Veteran and Military Family Service Center (VMFSC), located in Building 6 on the Pensacola Campus, assists students with both Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) education benefits and College-specific procedures. As part of the Student Financial Services Division, the VMFSC helps students navigate DVA education claims and ensures compliance with all institutional reporting requirements mandated by DVA regulations.

Students using veteran benefits must follow both Pensacola State College’s academic policies for earning a degree or certificate and DVA policies and procedures. The DVA determines eligibility and the amount of education benefits awarded. Both the student and the College are required to comply with DVA regulations.

Please note: The VMFSC is a service provided by Pensacola State College and is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

VMFSC Services at a Glance:

  • Personalized academic advising for veterans and military families, including course scheduling and degree planning.
  • Guidance on maximizing educational benefits for veterans and their dependents.

  • Support accessing  Educational Dollars for Duty (EDD) and Tuition Assistance (TA) for Reserve and Active Duty service members.
