Jennifer Hill has been selected the Kelly Services Talent of the Month for February.
Hill works at WSRE and is the primary staff person for the PBS station’s Imagination Station ─ a free hands-on children’s activity resource room at the Pensacola Bayfront Stadium.
She was nominated by Jill Hubbs, WSRE’s director of Educational Services and Outreach.
“She is amazing! She has been a part of the WSRE production crew for years and still occasionally works with that team. Now she is the primary staff person for WSRE’s Imagination Station,” Hubbs said in her nomination form.
“She represents our station, the college and the PBS brand so well. She is professional, friendly, reliable, very organized, flexible and takes care of every detail – no matter how small.”
Hubbs described the Imagination Station is her “baby,” and said Hill is the right person to manage the venue.
“I designed the room and have run it since its inception in 2013, so I have a huge stake in how it is being handled. We have had over 48,000 children and families visit the venue since it opened,” Hubbs said. “It is important that we have the right person in place to represent us professionally, make our public happy and to make sure that everything runs smoothly and safely. Jennifer Hill is that person. The children and families love her! She is truly a Talent of the Month and I am proud of her and proud to work with her.”
