If you enjoy golfing and helping Pensacola State students, the College’s 14th Annual Big Break Golf Classic will allow you to do both. Set for May 3 at Marcus Pointe Golf Club, the classic kicks off with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
When did you last have your blood pressure or cholesterol checked? If it wasn’t in 2019, come out to the annual PSC Employee Wellness and Health Fair on March 28. The health screenings are free and door prizes will be given away. We hope to see you there.
Pensacola State students who want to transfer to the University of West Florida now have a smoother path toward that transition. On March 5, the two institutions launched a redesigned and extended PSC2UWF program. The updated articulation agreement includes new benefits – including a reverse transfer option for Pensacola State students.
Four Collegiate High Future Business Leaders of America student-members are headed to the state conference in Orlando. Several of the students also were named Outstanding FBLA members, Outstanding FBLA Senior and included in the organization’s Region 2 Who’s Who listing.
Pensacola State College students and graphic artists did very well at the AAF Pensacola 2019 American Advertising Awards Gala. Sarah Goolsby won two gold and two silver ADDYs and captured a Student Judges Choice Award and Best of Show at the event. Overall, Pensacola State students won 27 gold and 29 ADDYs, as well as three in the professional division.
