Avast, ye mateys! Pensacola State College is ready to embrace its inner buccaneer as it celebrates Talk Like a Pirate Day today, Sept. 19. In honor of its mascot Pete the Pirate, the college invites students, faculty and staff from all PSC campuses to join in the fun: communicate like true pirates, with phrases such as “Ahoy, matey!” and “Shiver me timbers!” echoing through the halls. Share a laugh with pirate jokes as simple as, “Why did the pirate go to college? To improve his ‘arrrticulation’!” Become master of the ship by gather yer crew to set sail for a day filled with laughter, creativity and pirate spirit.
