It’s almost here! The first Pensacola State College International Festival is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 15, on the Pensacola campus.
The festival will feature food from various cultures, from German brats to Thai food to American-style barbecue.
Musical entertainers include headliner Larry Watson, McGuire’s Irish Pipe Band, the MyxTape band, and more. Cultural performances include Italian and Japanese dancers, Okinawan drummers, and Middle Eastern belly dancers.
The PSC International Festival also will feature a Children’s Village with activities such as face painting and a petting zoo, as well as a Military Lounge with information on Pensacola State programs and community resources available to active-duty service members, veterans and their dependents.
As part of the festival, WSRE-TV, the PBS station licensed to PSC, will host the PSC Spanish Film Festival, screening five films from the Pragda Spanish Film Club series.
In the event of inclement weather, the festival will be held in the Hartsell Arena (Bldg. 3) in the Lou Ross gym.
