
Pensacola State College visual arts students and graphic artists won 56 awards at the AAF Pensacola 2025 American Advertising Awards Gala held Feb. 21 at the Court of De Luna. PSC students earned 18 gold ADDYs, 36 silver ADDYs, and two Judges Choice Awards.
Pensacola State College visual arts students won 56 awards at the AAF Pensacola 2025 American Advertising Awards Gala on Feb. 21 at the Court of De Luna.
Pensacola State students earned 18 gold and 36 silver awards. Judges Choice Awards were given to Andrew Johnson for “Ingredients” and to Sherrie Drisdell for “PaperFolk: Teaser Trailer,” both in the Elements of Advertising category.
Johnson also won an impressive four gold medals, and Drisdell won a gold and three silver medals, a testament to the amazing talent of these young artists and the solid instruction, guidance and support of the Visual Arts faculty at Pensacola State College.
The American Advertising Awards, sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 25,000 entries nationally per year. The mission of the ADDY Awards is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
The AAF Student Division of the competition is open to full- and part-time college students and student interns attending accredited U.S. post-secondary educational institutions.
