“Grande Romanza” brings romantic Broadway and operetta musical selections to the Pensacola State College stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 11, at the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus.
Stefano and Nina Tanchietti, a dynamic tenor and soprano duo, perform classic love songs with fully-staged scenes, lavish costumes and choreographed dances. They are renowned for their extraordinary musical versatility that ranges from operas by Puccini to Broadway hits by Lerner and Loewe, and Rodgers and Hammerstein.
The Tanchiettis met as students at Boston University’s School of Fine Arts and have performed throughout Europe and the United States.
Ticket prices are $11 for reserved admission; $9 for seniors 60 years and older, children and non-PSC students; $7 for PSC staff/faculty/retirees and PSC Seniors Club members; and free for PSC students.
