“Tales of the Maya Skies” immerses the audience in the beauty of the “seventh wonder of the modern world” ─ Mexico’s Chichén Itzá. Attendees will hear the story of the ancient Maya civilization. The new digital full-dome planetarium show transports attendees to the jungles of Mexico while presenting the rich history and culture of the ancient Maya. The 33-minute show uses the latest 3-D laser scanning and advanced graphic techniques.
“Two Small Pieces of Glass” traces the history of the telescope from Galileo’s simple instrument to the magnificent Hubble Space Telescope. During the 25-minute show, two teenagers attend a star party and are introduced to wonderful sky objects including the rings of Saturn, the moons of Jupiter, and distant spiral galaxies. The teens learn how telescopes work and how they have continued to expand our understanding of the universe.
“From Earth to Universe” is a stunning 30-minute voyage through space and time. The full-dome planetarium movie conveys – through sparkling sights and sounds – the universe revealed by science.
