A steady stream of returning Pensacola State College students moved through Building 21 n the Pensacola campus on March 1 to register for summer and fall 2023 semesters.
March 1 was the first day of Priority Registration, which runs through March 31.
Returning students who register for classes during Priority Registration will be eligible to win a free iPad. Open registration for all students begins April 1, though PSC will allow any new student who wishes to register during March to do so. They also will be eligible to win the iPad.
Priority Registration locations:
- Pensacola campus, Building 21, Room 2149
- Warrington campus, Building 3600
- Milton campus, Building 4200
- South Santa Rosa Center, Building 5100
- Century Center, Room 7118
Registration at each location is from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m.-noon on Friday. The College will be closed March 20 -24 for spring break. The College’s summer semester begins May 15. The 2023 fall semester begins Aug. 15.
Though students can register online, however Pensacola State administrators urge students to register at one of the five locations to get the desired classes and the location.
At the in-person Priority Registration sites, students will find a one-stop process where administrators and staff members from admissions, advising, registration and financial aid can assist.
“We have different campuses, so there can be a mix-up if a student does try to register on their own,” said Jon Stephenson, PSC Associate Vice President of Student Affairs. “If a student comes here, it’s basically a one-stop shop where they’ll get all the help they need.”
(Stephenson isn’t kidding about mix-ups. At the start of the spring semester, a few students who registered themselves signed up for classes on the wrong campus.)
“We wanted to make this easier for students,’’ Stephenson said. “We’re here to support our students in any way we can.”
