Actor, activist and author Devin Robinson, known as Egypt, stars in ‘Black Men Naked Truth’ at 6 p.m., Thursday, June 8, at Pensacola State College’s Hagler Auditorium, Building 2, Room 252, on the Pensacola campus.
The public is welcome to this free performance. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Portraying seven characters, Egypt illustrates the challenges that some black men face in today’s society. Throughout the play, Egypt shares his views on issues that impact black men, black families and society as a whole.
From breaking down stereotypes and overcoming obstacles, Egypt is on a crusade to bridge the gap between “conscious ignorance” and “common sense answers” for the sole purpose of changing the climate of black love, homes and families.
The event is sponsored by the PSC African American Student Association.
