Avast, Pirate mateys! Pirate Day is Saturday, Jan. 18, and the PSC men’s and women’s basketball teams need all hands on deck to batten down the hatches and pack the house at Hartsell Arena! The women’s team plays at 2 p.m., and the men’s game is at 4 p.m. on the Pensacola Campus.
Show up in yer finest Pirate fashion, whether as actual pirates or in yer favorite PSC Pirate gear, as the Pensacola State men’s and women’s teams gear up to crush the barnacles of the Raiders as the rivals battle it out for a victory.
Hailey Lotz, Executive Director for Development, Alumni and Athletics, contends, “When the black and red flood the gym, the change in energy is undeniable. A packed home crowd backing our incredible Pirate athletes helps us move the momentum in our favor. Winning in front of that electric atmosphere is a special feeling and one I hope to see this Saturday.”
Weigh anchor, Pirate fans, and prepare to rally together to cheer on the PSC Pirates as they work to capture the prize of the coveted “W” and send the Raiders to Davy Jones’ Locker.
