David Andrews, Ph.D.

Dr. David Andrews is the Dean and Professor of Public Health at John Hopkins University School of Education. He is a 1976 Pensacola State College Alumnus and received the LeRoy Collins Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011.

Dr. David Andrews realized his dream of helping educate high-risk children through classes at Pensacola State College. Now, as a national leader in public education, he is closing the achievement gap by providing the highest-class instruction to some of our nation’s most economically distressed neighborhoods.
