Gateway courses are the first courses that provide transferable, college-level credit, allowing a student to progress in his or her program of study and align with a student’s academic pathway. Gateway courses are broken down into two categories: Communications and Mathematics. Specific gateway courses are ENC 1101, MAC 1105, MGF 1106, MGF 1107, and STA 2023. The College defines gateway course success as earned course grades of A, B, and C.
