The Tradition Continues of Sporting Good Fun with a Purpose

The Alumni Association held its annual Quail Hunt & Pheasant Shoot on Oct. 25 and 26. The event was at Dennis Lake Wing Club in Bay Minette, Alabama, where it has been held for more than ten years. Twenty-eight participants enjoyed hunting, good food and fellowship while understanding their participation funds endowed scholarships that help students realize their goals and dreams for themselves and their families through education and training at Pensacola State College.

This event has helped the alumni association build its program funds for the PSC Alumni Association’s matching fund endowed scholarship initiative. The matching program matches $12,500 from donors to endow a scholarship at the college.

It was a successful weekend of fun yet purposeful sporting that ended with new-found memories for all at Dennis Lake.
