Pensacola State College’s Planetarium and Space Theater will show “Apollo and Beyond: Conquering Gravity” on Friday, July 12.
The showing is set for 6-7 p.m. in the planetarium located in the Baroco Center for Advanced Technology, Building 21, on the Pensacola campus at 1000 College Blvd.
“Apollo and Beyond: Conquering Gravity” shares an exhilarating adventure on the moon and features a realistic future lunar colony where humans enjoy the low-gravity world. Celebrating 50-plus years of exploration beyond Earth’s gravity, the show also explores other worlds in the solar system and imagines how humans might live in those environments.
An adventure for all ages, the show includes music by Shai Fishman and NASA Space Science Education Consortium Apollo animation.
Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for students K -12, and $4 for preschool-age children, and go on sale on Monday, June 10. They can be purchased at the Ashmore Auditorium Ticket Office, Building 8 on the Pensacola campus, before the show.

Attendees are urged to arrive 15 minutes before showtime. The planetarium doors will be locked promptly at 6 p.m., and late attendees will not be allowed into the show.
