Classes - Transferring to a University
Florida's university system guarantees certain transfer rights to students who complete their A.A. degrees:
- Guaranteed admission to one of Florida's 12 universities, except for limited access or special admissions programs;
- Acceptance of at least 60 college credit hours you have completed;
- Degree options presented in the university catalog from the time you first entered the state/community college, as long as you have maintained continuous enrollment;
- Completion of all core requirements.
New Florida legislative action requires AA degree students planning to transfer to a state university to provide information indicating the university to which transfer is planned as well as the major of study at the university. This information will be required at the point you have earned 30 college credits at Pensacola State College. You will be directed to make these two choices through your Spyglass account prior to registration for the next semester at this 30 hour point. These choices do not lock you in to attending the university you select or the program major you choose. You may change your selections at any time. For additional information please visit or contact the most convenient Advising Center.
