Catalog Description:
This course is intended to provide hands-on experience in advanced 
word processing applications on computers using word processing 
software.  The students will work with macros, styles, fonts, 
graphics, merge documents, various sizes of paper, tables/columns, 
and floppy and hard disk management.

  3. Use Tables and Templates to Create Resumes and Cover Letters
  4. Create Research Papers, Newsletters, and Merged Mailing Labels.
  5. Use Styles and Create Multilevel Lists and Charts.
  6. Create Web Pages and Use Advanced Proofing Options.
  7. Build Documents from Reusable Content and Revise Documents Using Markup Tools.
  8. Use Advanced Table Features.
  9. Create Mass Mailings.
  10. Create Standardized Forms and Manage Documents.
  11. Work with Long Documents.
  12. Embed and Link Objects and use Macros.
  13. Integrate Word with PowerPoint and Modify the Document Layout.

Student Email Accounts: Pensacola State College provides an institutional email account to all credit students. Pirate Mail is the official method of communication, and students must use Pirate Mail when communicating with the College. In cases where companion software is used for a particular class, emails may be exchanged between instructor and student using the companion software.
