Catalog Description: Students in this course take the view of an organization's general manager. They address how firms use their resources (technology, managerial know-how, employees, capital, etc.) To pursue their goals and adapt to the environment (competition customers, economic/political/sociological conditions, global and domestic markets). Strategic management is about setting priorities for where a form wants to go and how to get there. Students work to develop managerial skills such as leadership, communication, and data analysis.

Course Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
1. Identify a problem, conduct research, and identify and recommend 
solutions to the problem.

Methods of Evaluation: Evaluation of student progress towards achieving the stated learning outcomes and performance objectives is the responsibility of the instructor, within the policies of the college and the department. Student Email Accounts Pensacola State College provides an institutional email account to all credit students.
