||This course may be used to satisfy a part of the A.A. and A.S.
general education writing requirement for graduation: students,
using standard English, will demonstrate college-level skills
through multiple writing assignments.

|Methods of Evaluation:
||Evaluation of student progress towards achieving the stated learning
outcomes and performance objectives is the responsibility of the
instructor, within the policies of the college and the department.
Methods and requirements will vary, but all sections of ENC1102,
however, will require:
1. Writing which includes a minimum of four multi-paragraph essays
and at least one timed in-class essay.
