Welcome to the Pensacola State College Salon. We are dedicated to providing quality educational experiences while offering low-cost services to our community. To ensure a smooth operation and positive experience for all, please review our salon policies outlined below.
Reception Hours:
Our reception is open from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. During these hours, phone calls will be answered or returned. Calls received outside these hours will be addressed the following business day.
Appointment Confirmation and Reminders:
Effective August 27, 2024, appointment confirmations and reminders will be sent via email and text message only. We will no longer make phone calls to confirm appointments.
Arrival Time:
Clients are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. Late arrivals may result in having to reschedule the service to ensure that our students’ learning experience is not compromised.
Service Requests:
To ensure fair distribution of learning opportunities, clients cannot request specific students for services. All services are assigned based on the instructor’s schedule and students’ educational needs.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to allow time for rescheduling and to accommodate other clients. This helps us ensure that students have the opportunity to fill the appointment slot and continue their learning experience.
Educational Focus:
Please remember that we are an educational institution, not an emergency discount salon. Our students are here to learn, and while we offer affordable services, these are subject to instructor schedules and planned breaks. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Communication and Response:
If you do not receive a response to your call, please be patient as we may have staff members out sick. We will return calls as promptly as possible.
Respect and Conduct:
We expect all clients to treat students and staff with respect. Any disrespectful behavior will result in immediate removal from the salon by security and restriction from future services.
No-Show Policy:
Clients who no-call no-show for three consecutive appointments will be restricted from receiving future services. Additionally, instructors reserve the right to limit further scheduling for clients based on their attendance history.
Lobby Etiquette:
To maintain a quiet and relaxing environment, we ask that clients refrain from using their phones and playing music in the lobby area.
Age and Supervision Policy:
Services will not be rendered to anyone under the age of 18 without a parent or guardian present. Unaccompanied or disruptive minors will be asked to leave the building and reschedule for another day to ensure a respectful and conducive learning environment.
Personal Belongings:
We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
